This may seem like a long time, but in fact Cyprus has one of the most accurate Land Registry systems in the world and their computer system is currently being upgraded. You will legally own your property from the moment you sign your contract.
Transfer Fees for Title Deeds:
These fees are due upon obtaining the Title Deeds and are calculated based upon the purchase price as follows:
Up to €85,430 3%
From €85,430 to €170,860 5%
And from €170, 860 and over 8%
