Financial institutions in the UK will not lend on property in Cyprus as the Title Deeds are not immediately available. Mortgages are readily available from the Cyprus banks, depending on status, for up to 80% of the purchase price over a period of up to 20 years.
The banking system is fully up to modern European standards with equivalent facilities.
